Flood of Emotions

I am flooded with emotions,

running through my head.

Struggling to remain realistic,

Not aware of what I had said.

Some of the thoughts are very shallow,

And others run way deep,

The past and present mixing in a heap.

I am hoping I make sense, and not driving you away.

All I need is a loving trusting caring friend,

that I can talk to today.

I am only human,

but trying to be perfect.

Hoping not do saying something.. I'll regret.

I am trembling with excitement .. trying not to be afraid.

Now I am done rambling, and I started to pray.

Lord, give me the Strength handle things that don't always go my way.
