I was meditating one day,
and heard a rearrrrrrrrnew..
and then a very loud growl.
I cracked open the doors,
and to my surprise,
was the biggest opposum,
there before my eyes.
There it was,
Big ugly and grey,
growling at Tom,
a cat formerly a stray.
This big ol’ oppossum,
man could it go,
It appeared not to walk.
But it just rolled.
It was near Halloween and,
reminded me of a song. ~(Rolly Polly Pumpkin.)~
So I sang about the Opposum as it rolled along.
o/~ “It was the Rolly Polly Opposum
and it could move along. Didn’t have no legs,
but it had a growl as it just rolled along.
It likes to eat the cat food,
and all the dead plants,
I wouldn’t even doubt if,
made earthquakes for the ants.
Moves just like a worm...
as it squirms along...
Now it’s out of sight..
I can no longer sing this song..” o/~
