She wanted me to turn off the light.
She says “Hand me my glasses”
She wanted me to pull the shades.
She says “in the kitchen”
When she means in the bathroom.
She says “sweep the bathroom carpet”
She meant that she wanted me to vacuum.
Sometimes mothers can be quite confusing,
but you have to admit that they can also be amusing.
