Some of us may chose to live with other Heinzist communities or start their own personal families within the tribe. All transactions will be done as friend to friend, and family member to family member. Our Tribe is a spiritual community, and is not to be treated as a business. Any business decided by the members between members and none members is fully done under their own risk and responsibility, and Not to be seen as associated or affliate with the tribe. (We however as a tribe do not tolerate illegal or fraud activity, and we will report it). Number of Shared Community Meals Not Applicable at this time. In the future if tribal members in a single area meet offline they can do community meals as they feel. Dietary Practice/Dietary Choice Or Restrictions: Diet is up to each individual "Eat Everything in a Healthy Moderation." We however frown on Abusing uses of Alcohol, or Smoking.. and other items. We however have no problem with responsible use, and as long as it is done in a legal matter. Our Tribal members have a right to allow or prohibit this use in their presences, or on their property. Also it is required that all Tribals respect eachother's allergies and dietary practices. Decision Making Style By consensus By the community leader By majority rule By a group of elders or other leaders By Tribal Founder (It depends on the type of descision and if it effects the entire tribe or just particular families, or family groups.) A combination of all of the above... We have Heinzist tribe for now until We find others I am the leader. (I was voted leader, in our last little election.) Down the road we will vote for other leaders, to lead each individual families. (Most family households will also have their chosen leaders.. 1 leader for every 12 people.) Those other leaders will be our Elders. Then under them will be other people... BUT under then does not mean less then. An Elder is meant to guide, and represent the people, and/or position they are filling. There will be numerous groups within the tribe, to allow for diversity and unity to coexist... Everyone is expected to participate a both leaders and followers... Example A: A Political Leader.. who will lead as a host for political topics, is responsible for education and such on political topics. Example B: A Christian Preist Will be someone who will lead the Christian topics. A Leader or elder is just someone the tribe looks up to in their particular area of speciality. It does not make one better or worse than the next. All Members of the Heinzist tribe are expected to be leaders, when they can be, and respectful followers or the leaders they choose to be. Howeve by choosing to be a member of the Heinzist tribe you are to remember, all Heinzist Tribal members are to do their best to always be good role models to eachother, and to the world beyond the tribe. When we make descisions for our tribe. What will happen is.. Every member will report to their elder to respond to the vote. The elder will then report to the other elders their responces, and we will all sit down and discuss each individual members thoughts about the issue or topic at hand... So this way each individual not only gets to vote. But gets to verbally or by written way to share their ideas and thoughts on the topic, or issue. An Elder in many Cases will be the leader the group choses to lead their branch of Heinzism... or Lead on certain issues, or other topics based on knowledge and experience. Votes will at times be both public and anonymous.. Example: One Christian Leader May run the Christian heirarchy in their family.. In The Christian branch they may all vote to run it like a traditional church.. and do the Church Heirachy thing. In the Wiccan branch they may run their group like a coven. But over all of the groups we will do consensus regardless of heirarchy and everyone will be involved, and it will be open for each tribal member to change their family as people change with their spiritual growth, and from their own personal experiences. Educational Style: Up to the individual and their family at this stage. We also share information with eachother... We will work on dispelling sterotypes of each individual spiritual family and group, and go beyond that and help dispell sterotypes in society, beyond on tribe. As far as what Religion or Spirituality we are.. We do all of the below: --- Incorporates one or more of these spiritual Eclectic or Worldly (integrates pieces from many religions) and Other - The Heinzist Tradition. So for the Atheist groups they will be an Atheist Elder.. For the Non-Heinzists of the groups. They can too elect an elder or approach us as individuals with suggestions, or comments about how to improve this path, or improve our path's association with non-Heinzists. ===================== Our Heinzist Tribes's Tribal Understanding. Our Tribal Philosophy and Services We the Heinzist tribals, are a group of beings who have come together to form an "eclectic tribal Extended Family - Like Nation” committed to building a Strong and a very diverse Spirituality oriented community, and network for our personal spiritual, emotional, mental, and physical lifestyles. We are forming our tiny Nation to help support eachother on our spiritual path. - We believe and agree that tribal management is a natural form of gathering and will work best to help those who practice and live by the Heinzist tradition, and aid our function and working as Heinzists. Our Tribal Benefits The Tribe works to provide a beneficial eclectic social grouping, which is not based quantum or on biological heritage or affliation, and hereditary family structures, this is based on the Heinzist Tradition to help construct the support and community between Heinzists, an non - Heinzists of like mindedness, and all involved recieve more love support and encouragement, from other tribal members. This will also give all tribal members a more natural and accepted rhythm to allow them to live within a natural dance of survival. Our tribe will recognize the well-being of all tribal citizens. We all work together to make sure each tribal member remains healthy, in mind, body, and spirit. This is due to our beliefs in the Golden Rule, and in doing for others, we do for ourselves, Each individual Tribal Citizen is to treat all other Tribal citizens, with the same high respect and honor, that each of the tribal citizens would want themselves, within the tribe, as wanting to recieve. This is to be sure to aid and benefit that all tribal citizens both within all areas of survival, so that each person's well-being well be of equal importance. In our tribe there will be a recognition of Spiritual and Physical survival, to help with the needs and fullfillment with functioning in the the daily tribal life. This mean there will be high value on tribal citizens working and helping eachother, as well as developing strong bonds, and relationships,to help fullfill the needs and survival of eachother. As we work in forming our tribe, We will have many discussions, about ethics, principles, and agreements.. as they form based on the Heinzist Tradition. These will be reflected in our Tribal vows and understandings. The shared vows will lay the tracks for our tribal, train, and it will help improve the quality of spiritual life for all individuals to improve and grow spiritually. As we demonstrate through our shared commitment and belief that reflects our understandings and principles. We will observe how we work to help grow and preserve our natural group, as well as help each tribal individual learn, and grow to be their best in spirit. Our own knowledge and experiences as a tribe would reflect our tribal and individual understandings, which will bring us promising comfort, and security. Our Tribal Model Our Heinzist Tribal model is based on what we call the Heinzist Way, and focused on uniting people from many other backrounds, to help eachother through our spiritual journey, and learning experiences. This model is to help each of us walk our personal path of truth, but yet remain united under the simplest beliefs of the Heinzist Tradition and path. In this model we are all equal, and all have a voice, and all will have a choice to contribute or not to contribute as we feel a need. This tribe is overall to help give a family, emotional, and spiritual support as well as wisdom from many other traditions, paths, nations, and walks of spiritual life. We are here to improve eachothers lives, and the lives of those around us. One of our greatest challenges will be getting used to the unity in diversity, and not only fullfilling our own spiritual needs but helping others to fullfill the overall spirituality and growth of our own tribe. Most of us come from a society based on seniority. We will try to function to work together in all things, and foster the true spirit of all of us being one tribal body, as well as allowing individuals to retain their individuality if they so desire. But even as individuals, and as a body, we will all be working hard to function in pure spiritual unity, and to create a true community around the Heinzist Tradition. This will raise and create a society for both Heinzists and Non-Heinzists, to hopefully pull together strongly in a community of support and unity. --- We are forming our tribe in this way so we can honor our individual beliefs, and the groups beliefs as a whole, and allow each individual a strong voice, and strong chance to help the rest of the tribe out, as well as to seek out help when they need it. Most communities in the end break up over unresolved issues, Ones that they can not even seem to Agree to disagree upon.. So it best to our tribal citizens to enter and exit the tribe through a mandatory process, so all tribal citizens including the person leaving has a clear conclusion and hopefully are parting in ways of peace. We are hoping that most individuals when they join our tribe, are willing to work together to overcome most of the difficulties - by coming to an agreeing descisions, or making the decision open enough for both parties, to agree to disagree, and that this would give room to have little or no reason to leave the tribe. We plant to function like a legally based religious non-profit, but do not plan on forming a non-profit, for profit, org, association.. etc. We are a spiritually based tribe, based on the Heinzist Tradition. We have come to our conclusions we would function better as a tribe, due to our eclectic nature. We make will be making choices of a legal basis, and allows us to share our resources, in a smooth and efficient manner, as well as provides us with a structure that naturally emphasizes, and reinforces our principles, and philosphies, as our legal basis will be observed and validated in testing, and trial and error. Our activities should always reflect and uphold our philosphies, beliefs, and Heinzist tradition. We do not plan to form non-profit, profit or entity.. as we plan to function as a group of friends, helping out friends, as just gathering as a club, or extended family. Our tribe will be unique, as its based on a new Spiritual Tradition that has old fundamentals, and is not based on lineage, but on agreement and choice. We choose to create a tribe to help transition our individual and solitary Heinzist Tradition, and path into a group effort, fostering the true belief that we are all family, all related, and all can successfully learn to live in unity with one another. We will also learn to form new social habits, learn to work better with each other and fullfill the Spirituality of all tribal citizens involved. We will have our discussions with hope and excitement, on how we are gonna share our spiritual resources, and help improve the quality of life, of all tribal citizens. We will also keep in mind that individual values, property, and belongings will be respected. As we progress we will develop our agreements about truth and honesty, and equality. We will use and help from each individual citizen within our tribe, and help support eachother on our spiritual walks to the best of our ability. We will learn to deal and help eachother cope with eachothers fears, as well as talk and work through our individual obstacles. Overtime, we will learn to help fullfill and help eachother out in our spiritual and social needs, as well as to give those who are less social space and time to themselves when they need it. We will make sure that each individual has a feeling of freedom, and comfort, and is able to openly discuss their thoughts and feelings, and function like a tribe, and know we all belong, and all have our place of being. This will also give us a strong support group to help us cope and deal with living within, and without the tribe. Currently this tribe is only spiritually based but as time progresses, we might be able to help support eachother in other areas of life, our tribal constitution reflects our tribal law, and Heinzist Tradition reflects our Tribal Values. We know we will do alot of sharing of spiritual resources, and after a formal non-profit congregation has been established through the Universal Life Church, We may share more on a Physical level as well to help out our tribal citizens, and partners who are non - citizens, but are friends of the tribe. All of our tribal citizens are considered part of our spiritual tribe. They will keep all Tribal vows and participate in our tribal consensus. If they choose not to participate in the tribal consensus and do not like the outcome of the vote, then they will be expected to remain neutral beyond the outcome. We hope all members of the tribe will be active tribal members, and continue to help nourish, and nuture eachother, as well as present and share new wisdoms, offer their prayers, caring, and support of one another the best they can, and to lend a listening ear, to eachother. ========================================== Our Heinzist tribal Vows Main Tribal Vows. Our agreements are recognized as our main tribal agreements, and every citizen within our tribe, must be able to abide by these agreements. These agreements are non negotiable, although they may be re-worded by consensus of the tribe, or by an individual of the tribe, and then approved via tribal consensus, only for better understanding and clarification of terms and meanings. ============ We vow to abide by Tribal Vows/Rights/Responsibility We vow to Make and Keep all Tribal vows We vow to use Consensus, polls, and Consensus forms as our Choice-making mechanisms, and to trust the decisions of our Tribal Founder. We vow, for leadership representation decision making purposes, to appoint leadership representatives, through a vote to specific People, as well as to abide by the final ruling of the Tribal Founder. - These purposes will be in regarding individual Spiritual Families. - A Family for Spiritual or religious groups within the tribe. (Ex. Christian Family, Buddhist Family, Etc.) - A Family for seperate rights activists within and without the tribe (Ex. Peace Keeping Rails, Republicans, Democrats, etc.) For Purposes of being a Tribal elected Elder An Honored Elder can be appointed by another Elder within the tribe, or another Tribal Group, through consensus. (Example Christian Minister recognizing a new Christian Minister, a High Preist or Preistess giving blessings for a new coven to be started, A Shaman recognizing a new Shaman, or a new Spiritual group recognizing a new spiritual Leader of their group.. etc.) We Vow that we will serve as legal trustees for the non-profit, profit, association, or organization. (Should any of the above be formed, we do not currently plan on this.) By Consensus, and vote. .. (In the future if and when a non-profit is able to be established) Serves as steward of the physical tribal assets By Consensus, and vote. - Currently No (none applicable) We Vow to decide by consensus, to vote who serves on the Non-profit Board. (When and if one forms) We Vow to decide by Consenses, and vote, to all changes to the Tribal vows. We Vow to decide by Consenses, and vote, to all choices about the physical assets. We Vow to be keep an open mind to the possibilities of purchasing, Living on, renting, sharing, or helping to support our Tribal Land. (We may not actually purchase land as a tribe but use public parks, campgrounds, and make agreements with Tribal partners to pay them for use of their land.) We Vow to recognize not all members would want to live on or within tribal land, and still can remain active Heinzist tribal Citizens. (Currenly no Tribal citizens own or lease, or have a Tribal Land.) We Vow to Make and Keep Project-Based Agreements We Vow to remember all projects are and will be volunteer. We agree to keep all tribal vows and agreements, on the Heinzist tribe yahoogroup until it can later be invested to work with legal trustees of the non-profit entity which is the legal construct of the tribe in the "real" world. (If formed) We recognize that entering our tribe will be a challenge, after having been raised in a society of seniority. This will require all of us to transform our thinking, attitudes, behaviors, habits, and actions. We therefore place our greatest faith in our belief of All Being Related as One... ...One with all things, and beings, which tribal society is natural and healthy for us all as living beings. We commit ourselves to making and honoring tribal agreements with one another that reflect the following knowledge: We Agree all our actions are based on doing the right thing, so I act with respect for all things, and beings and refrain from acts that are meant to be damaging, malicious, or belittling of the Universal Spirit in any way, shape, or form. We agree that all power comes with a strong responsibility and that they are inseparable. (So we ask members not to volunteer for jobs or duties they are incapable of doing, or can not perform in a responsible manner.) Our Tribal Spirituality Vows Our Tribe is formed in Heinzist Spirituality, and Heinzism represents the acknowledgment and agreement between tribal citizens in knowing we are all connected as one. This is demonstrated our following actions: Spiritual Tribal Vows. Spiritual Tribal Citizens agree to Live by the Heinzist Way: By Remaining True to Spirit, By Remaining to others, By Remaining to your/ourselves. By Loving one another, By Respecting the rights of all things and beings. By doing their best to: Harming none - Doing that which is right - Living by the golden rule. And Agreeing to Disagree, for better diverse unity. Our Citizens (who are able) : Agree to be physically present for the birth and death of other citizens of our tribe. (This is optional for long distance members, and of course it all depends on the tribal citizen's wishes on the matter) They would agree to meet to celebrate the ceremonial transitions of other members of the tribe (affirmation love ceremonies, initiations, coming-of-age ceremonies, blessings of children, etc.). They would agree to meet with the whole tribe on during Tribal Agreed Gatherings. (Tribal intiations would take place at these celebrations, Tribal Elections, Meetings etc.). ======================================= Our Tribal Operation Vows We agree to be truthful and honest with everyone. We agree to bring information to all tribal citizens and everyone willingly, freely, and to form an atmosphere of caring, and sharing of information in a free a fearless manner. We agree to being truthful means willingly and actively participate in bringing forward all facts and information which affects the tribe’s, Tribal citizen's, and all individual's ability to make proper choices, even if is uncomfortable to do so. We agree honesty is willingly and actively participating to bring forward all internal information in the forms of thoughts, fears, feelings, assumptions, or attitudes which affects the tribe’s (or any individual within the tribe) ability to make empowered choices, even if that information is uncomfortable for oneself or others. We agree to refrain from the use of gossip, (talking about instead of to), complaint, (bringing up problems without intention of solving them), and blame (assigning responsibility where it cannot rest), in our communications and are willing to be made aware if we are unconsciously doing so. We agree as a group to question and test the longevity of any ideas, constructs, structures, and social agreements that affect the wellbeing of the group. We agree that we will treat other tribal members as we wish to be treated. This means that we will not knowingly take action toward or make speech about any tribal member that we ourselves could not accept from another. This also means that we will refrain from actions toward others which they have told us directly are harmful to them (and which they can demonstrate are harmful according to the tribal vows), provided their request is not in violation to any tribal vows and does not restrict our true expression. This does not mean others can dictate our behavior, but it does mean that we will clearly respect eachother's stated limits. We agree to value equally the individual and tribal well-being. When faced with a choice between individual and tribal wellbeing, we agree that we will not place one above the other, and instead will find a solution to decide, and accommodate both. We agree to give notice, communicate about, and to do our part, voluntarily help out where we can regarding the tribal citizen's and the tribal wellbeing. We agree that all work must be voluntary and continued indefinately for all parties involved. We agree that all work must be consensual, but also agree that each Tribal Member will willingly contribute to the tribe. We agree that new tribal citizens must be accepted through full consensus of the existing tribe, or by the Tribal Founder's acceptance, and that we will have tribal initiation ceremonies in two parts: We agree to meet with other tribal citizens, and to learn answers for things misunderstood within the tribe, and for all citizens to agree to be honest, with their best explanation of the meaning. We focus our tribal living, at our best, in a joyful, playful, and enjoyable activities and interactions. This not saying we avoid all discomfort, but that we embrace and hold it, so it too, can be changed into a positive experience involving spiritual growth, and of celebration and play. We agree that we will treat other tribal members as we wish to be treated. This means we will not knowingly act toward another, or make speech about any tribal member that we ourselves could not accept from another. We agree to willingly bear our own responsibility for choices we make on decision (without input or influence from the tribe). If a choice we make will affect the tribe or its resources, and therefore we cannot bear our own responsibility for the choice, we agree to seek the proper consensus agreement of the tribe before making the choice. We agree to willingly participate in consensus, and voting, as the choice-making mechanism of the tribe. This means that each individual member of the tribe has a voice and power equal to the entire group (all choices must be collectively agreed upon by all before they are implemented). (If the choices are not agreed upon they keep going through a consensus until they are either agreed upon, or agree to be thrown out, or voted to come back to, by tribal vote.) We acknowledge the needed elements for the successful use of consensus are: - Equal Power/responsibility - Shared Vision We agree to willingly uphold and honor all agreements we have made and any others that we make afterwards by using, consensus or voting with the tribe after this time, and we agree to be confronted by the tribe or any member of the tribe if we do not uphold our agreements, with the intent of bringing us back to honoring these agreements or reshaping them through consensus with the tribe if we can no longer honor them as they stand. (All Confrontations must be done at the appropriate time, and in an appropriate manner.) We understand that our honored agreements are our tribal membership. In other words, if we refuse to honor the agreements we have made with the tribe and/or refuse to reshape them using consensus if confronted about this, we are voluntarily ending our tribal membership, and must initiate the departure process as described below. We agree to place equal value on individual and tribal well-being. When faced with a choice between individual and tribal wellbeing, we agree that we will refuse to place one over the other, and instead find a solution large enough to include both. We agree to give notice, communicate about, and equalize work according to what we understand and know. All involvement must be supporting and voluntary for all parties involved. All involvement must be consensual.(If one chooses not to be involved, then they are considered neutral during the consensus process) We agree that new tribal members must be accepted through full consensus of the existing tribe, or By the Tribal Founder's initiation. (And Later down the road, after the Tribe Grows by a Certain Elected Tribal Council) We Agree to not only do our best to live by our Tribal Agreements, but also to live by the Tribal Constitution, Our Tribal Constitution, and the Heinzist Way. Are Agreements We agree not to alter, in any manner, way, shape or form, as they are the founding Elements or out tribe. We Agree all individuals that are blacklisted or banned, will not have any involvement within the Tribe, or Tribal Activities. (All Black listed, and Banned members are put onto the list by the Tribal Consensus Process.) We Agree all Grey listed Members members Are to uphold their agreements, and all tribal Members, are to honor the Grey List rules regarding what activities suspend, individuals from contact, or activities, Within the Tribe. (Example: Once a citizen is Grey listed to have no contact with another Tribal citizen for their safety, like a restraining order. For a certain period of time. Another citizen is forbidden to be involved within activities regarding children, if it turns out they have committed offenses against children. One Citizen is not allowed to have contact with certain religions or spiritual members, or races within the tribe, due to their involvement in a hate crime, or a phobia, until either the suspension is up, or issue is dealt with. All will be again decided by tribal Consensus, or the Tribal Founder.) We Agree that all who agree to abide by tribal rules, when working with the tribe are accepted as being Tribal Partners. But they are not actually citizens of the tribe, and will be allowed in certain intertribal votes, and activities.
